Mission Statement / Goals
使命宣言 / 宗旨:

The Chinese Martyrs' Catholic Church (CMCC) Maintenance Team is made up of volunteers with different backgrounds and experience in maintenance/building services. It is an advisory body to the Pastor/spiritual leader, Fr. Andrew Deng in regard of up keeping the church facility and rectory building in good and safe condition.

Its mission is to ensure that the Church and Rectory buildings and their surroundings remain in good repair are a safe environment for the parish staff, parishioners and those that visit the parish.

Services offered at Church
服務範圍:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of the parish building and its surroundings which include: church, rectory, grounds/gardens etc.
Regularly inspect the parish facilities to assess the maintenance and repair requirements and reports all findings to the Pastor.
Recommends to the Pastor the prioritizing of maintenance and repair projects to be undertaken around the parish.
Solicit quotations for work needing to be done around the parish.
Prepare reports for the Parish Finance Council and Pastoral Council about the repair and maintenance work needing to be done around the parish.

Members 入會資格:

The current Team Lead is Michael Cheung, who is a Professional Engineer with over 40 years of engineering, project and construction experience in Hong Kong and Canada. We also have a few volunteers on an “as required when need” basis. We encourage volunteers, particularly young parishioners who desire to serve the community and to commit time and talents to this Service Group. Building and maintenance experience is welcomed but NOT MANDATORY because experienced members are willing to be mentors to junior members.
