Two devastating earthquakes and hundreds of violent aftershocks in Turkey and Syria have caused great destruction in both countries.

The Archdiocese of Toronto is accepting donations to support relief efforts underway.

Those wishing to help may do so in the following ways:

Please continue to pray for those who have died and for those displaced because of this tragic disaster in both Turkey and Syria.

Prayer for the Victims
Lord God, have mercy on all those who suffer in this natural disaster.
Welcome all deceased into your eternal peace.
Heal those who are hurt, and suffer.
Comfort those who mourn.
Help those in need of the reconstruction of their homes.

Lord God, enable us to support and to love each other.
Help us realize your will in all uncertainties.
Help us relieve the victims; wipe away tears of sorrow,
and cherish life, your divine gift.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
